Article: [senit] Touchscreen portable

Hi Mandy
Do you mean Magic Touch? They make touch panels( windows?) that you fit onto
the front of a monitor and turn it into a touch screen. They make versions
for laptops as well as standard monitors. I only have experience of the
desktop version, which worked very well and enabled the touch screen to move
with the child - without lugging a monitor. They are not suitable for
everybody but that is true of almost anything.

They come in various sizes and are a lot cheaper than a touch monitor from
£120- £200 I think , depending on size. You can get them from a range of
suppliers: SEMERC, Le Computer - probably lots more.
Any help?
Ann

Most laptops can be made touch sensitive. There is a company (who's
name escapes me) that has an overlay for laptops.

No idea of how successful, it was something I heard about.

 Dear all

I wonder if anyone has any suggestions of currently available laptops
which offer "touch screen" functionality?

Many thanks
