Mike if you are choosing VR I would have a good long look at Vista at
this stage - the built in voice recog engine offers some real potential
for users and whilst it is not a powerful as DNS it is effective and has
some useful features 

Happy to talk offlist about what is there and we are also running some
Vista training days over the next few weeks

I have been asked to support a school in introducing voice activated
software/hardware into school. The only experience I have is with the
early versions of Dragon dictate. 
Has anyone gt any ideas suggestions, pointers advice etc. on what to
