Article: [senit] Brain Plasticity

And the book The Learning Brain by Blakemore and Frith is a recent
publication outlining the recent research on this topic. It is excellent.

The idea of brain plasticity is now accepted I believe. That is to say the
brain can rewire itself (stroke patients are a good example as are taxi
driver working memory area of the brain, musicians with larger than normal
areas of the brain devoted to music and so on) There are many studies on
this including ones on dyslexia done in Cornell University in the US (I have
a copy if anyone wants to see it).
