information concerning some lectures about Dyslexia that will be taking
place next month.

Senior Clinical Scientist in the Assistive Technology Team at Barnsley
District General Hospital Foundation Trust has sent information about the
RAATE conference that will take place in November.

This presentation will focus on practical improvements to improve the
dyslexic brain.

 

•Brain plasticity: the brain can change. Success in applying research from
the laboratory to the classroom.

•How the brain processes language and reading.

•How to systematically develop reading and cognitive skills (memory,
attention, processing & sequencing).

•Why some children read too slowly to comprehend, and what to do about it.

 

Dr Ian Creese will be in the UK, the week of October 16, to give a number of

It is special opportunity to see a renowned expert in this field. Ian Creese
is the Board of Governors Professor of Neuroscience, Rutgers University, New
Jersey USA & Co-Director (with Paula Tallal) of the Center for Molecular and
Behavioral Science.
