I don't know what level this child is at but if it is a cause/effect level then you might try looking for free "keyboard bangers" software. This software is designed for babies and let's individuals "bang" on the keyboard and then makes sounds/images appear on the screen. Many of them are relatively age appropriate. Here are two I can think of http://www.klangogames.com/en/asc/ and http://www.kneebouncers.com/kneebouncers.html .
