Dear all

Many thanks for all your responses to my request for schools where I 
could arrange some interviews about symbols. Within a couple of days 
I received far more replies than I expected, and I now have more than 
enough volunteers. Following the pilot work I will be bidding for 
research funding; if successful, I hope to be able to speak to 
everyone who offered their time next year.

It is good to be reminded of the positive, helpful community that 
inhabits SENIT - not always so visible in some of the posts to the 
mailing list!
