[senit] SENIT at BETT

Happy New Year to everyone,

May I remind you about the SENIT meeting at BETT this week. 

Friday 11th January at 2.00 pm in a Special Needs Fringe seminar room.

(The Fringe is in the Hilton Hotel that is just over the bridge from the
main BETT exhibition. 

You will see the Special Needs Fringe and Inclusive Technology signs
outside. 

Just come into the main Fringe room and follow the signs to the seminar
rooms 

- or ask someone at the Fringe reception) 

It will be a get together/ meeting/ show and tell/ discussion. 

Everyone is welcome - and its FREE!! 

The agenda so far is:

*   David Banes has offered to show Vista and/or discuss BSF (building
schools for the future)

*   Jeff Hughes would like to discuss the Bercow review of Speech, Language
and Communication Needs.

*   Sally Paveley would like to show the latest on the Whiteboard Room
website.

*   Chris Abbott I will say a few words about the new Journal he is editing
(Journal of Assistive Technologies) and can give advice to anyone who is
interested in getting papers published there or elsewhere. 

I'm sure there will lots to discuss about the latest things from the show. 

Any additional ideas for the agenda, or anybody wanting to show anything in

particular, would still be very welcome on the day.
