Many thanks to all who took the time and effort to help me out with this one. We are looking at all the suggestions and hoping to come up with a workable solution. Publishers are now a lot more forthcoming about providing us with electronic copies of their books to reproduce in braille and large print formats and this type of work (converting PDF files) is going to keep our resources technician very busy in the future. Many thanks - you are a wonderfully knowledgeable and generous bunch.
