Hi can anyone comment on the relative merits for a mobile device in SLD (eg having touchscreen  access to painting programs, chooseit maker, clicker to record & print their responses as well as function as a VOCA)
on the following two devices , both of which have reasonable sound output for the busy classroom;

Pansonic tough book CF-19
£2000-2700

vs 

FuturePad Pro
£4000 incl amplification unit & switch acess & the Grid

Factors so far include;
*the best way to present/mount it for non-wheelchair users
eg student may touch keys rather than touchscreen in toughbook with screen
at 45 degrees.
*Size of screens toughbook 10 inch diagonal compared with 8.5 inch for
FuturePad Pro
*The cost
