Getting the pictures to appear in Clicker Writer is done through the Settings.

Click on File > Settings > Picture and Sound Libraries.
On the Pictures tab, turn on the "Use Instant Pictures in Clicker Writer and text boxes" option.

This change will only be applied to the current grid set.

The "Instant Picture" facility works by searching the libraries for a picture with a name that matches the text entered. You are also asking a picture with one name (frying pan) to be used when different text is typed (pan). This can be achieved by using the keyword facility.

Go to Edit Mode and open the Pictures Palette.
Open the library containing the picture (The default library is "Crick Picture Library 2") and go to the appropriate folder ("Cooking" in this case).
Set the "View" option to "Details" (A Keywords column is displayed.)
Locate the picture "frying pan" and add "pan" as a keyword. (You can add as many keywords as you like.)

The keywords associated with any picture will be used with all grid sets.

I'm sorry, because I am sure I'm being a bit daft, but can someone tell me how I get Clicker 5 to send a picture of a "frying pan" to Clicker Writer when the user types "pan". I know I've done this before and I've had a little fiddle around without coming up with the answer. I though I might save myself some time by asking!
