[senit] PIVATS at NC levels 1 and 2 ICT

I'm teaching quite a bright bunch in our special school this year.  We use PIVATS for our assessments but I'm struggling with the statements at levels 1-3.  If you go exactly by the individual PIVATS statements, as my colleague did last year, two of my pupils come out at level 3 ICT.  But if you look at the level descriptors and examples of work for the levels from the qca and my local authority they should only be good level ones.  The trouble is, I'm struggling to give a PIVATS score for them.  Anyone else come across this problem, or is it just me!!?
