Dave you end on "- copy text to appropriate application (fascinating when copied to Communicate: in Print!!!)" but as I am sure you know the lengthy next step is to adapt the symbolisation appropriately for the students you are dealing with. Eg just providing a symbol per word translation has been found to be ineffective in helping a mixed group of students with SLD to access the key ideas.Even the text itself has to be altered sometimes to make it more understandable.
