Article: [senit] flash video

Since we are talking about Flash - is it possible to convert video to flash format for quicker download?
I have been asked to prepare a 45 min staff training video and put it on the local grid. It can be broken into shorter sections (longest section is 15 mins). I am looking at a format where teachers can read informative text alongside the video and was considering Ms Producer.

Can flash reduce the file size? If it has possibilities what program would I use to convert the video?
