David May be a bit obvious but you seem to be talking about what I refer to as 'magic box' activities. By layering items you can make pictures dragged onto an area/shape/picture only appear if they are meant to be there. You could attach a sound reward to the items to reinforce a correct answer. If you email me off list I can send you an example and instructions explaining how to do this. I use chooseitmaker 2 for verbal comprehension mainly as the show prompt option which allows matching is at the side and not clearly separated from the options above -ege by a line- and gets mistaken for an option itself. how do you use it for sorting?
