Thanks for clarifying, David. I'd already looked at the data sheet in the link you gave - there are several references to 'pen input', but under display it says "finger and pen optimised" - hence the confusion! Since my original posting, my colleague, Sandra, has managed to get through to somebody sensible in HP, who confirmed that it was pen only.
