Article: [senit] mobile computing

David,

This PC is being bruited as gret for education - RM are selling a
version. Could be useful as the Linux front end is easy to use, BUT the
screen is quite small and anyone with vision problems could struggle. No
software necessary, as it comes with open Office, which is capable of
editing Word, Excel and Powerpoint, up to a point, there are
differences. It is not easy to add software. It is possible to change to
Windows XP, software comes with the machine, and there will be native
Windows versions available soon. You have to bear in mind the limited
storage, which Windows will fill very quickly. You then have the need to
add SD HC cards, with possible problems of loss of them. There is also
the question of limited battery life, I get about 3 hours max from mine.
